David Wolfe says that the best way to start eating in a healthy way is to "add to" one's diet, and to simply eat what tastes and feels good--"the best food ever."
Well, today, I started my adventure in juicing by making myself a healthy version of my favorite soft drink, Ginger Ale.

Lemon~Lime Ginger Ale
(Serves 1)
1 apple, cored and sliced

1/4 lemon
1/2 inch fresh ginger (less if you find the taste too strong)
1/2 lime
handful of grapes (I used green)
sparkling mineral water

Remove the grapes from the stem. Juice the apple and ginger together, then juice the rest of the fruit. Pour the juice in a large glass and fill to the top with sparkling water and serve with ice.

(I use a whole lemon and a whole lime and a bit more ginger, and I did not use mineral water. I did pour it over ice and add about 1/2 c. non-tap water.)
